Humans, Half-Elves, Wood Elves, Lutins, Half-Trolls, Braves and Half-Orcs may specialize as a Ranger.
Citizen description: Common to all characters. It describes the basic skills related to physical activities (swimming, running, jumping), social activities (trade, languages) and magic (healing, public teleporter usage).
Hunter description: Available from level 5 on, this gives access to Hunter skills. These skills give the character a higher mastery of bows, short swords and daggers. They also allow him/her to track preys, to move faster or to reduce an opponent’s speed. Rangers also get some basic knowledge of cartography, although not as high as a true explorer’s knowledge in this field.
Ranger description: When a Ranger reaches level 20, three paths become available: traps, bow and slingshot mastery, and tracking skills.
Equipment: a Ranger may use, at best, leather armour, and cannot use a Great Shield. Most commonly used melee weapons are knives, short and long swords, and one-handed staves. There is also a wide choice of distance weapons, from slingshots to throwing knives, to light crossbows to many types of bows.
